I am migrating my blog and my website into one and this was the most efficient way to do this with minimal fuss.

So please be patient as I am sure there will be some hiccups and bumps along the way as this happens.

I could take pictures of these plants all day, I find them so beautiful, but it was time to go to the top of the 10 story building and get some pictures of the solar panels.

They are even beautiful in their own industrial way…

The stairs “that need a little work” up to the property.

After looking at the state of the stairs we decided to take the crazy shale covered steep potholed slipper slope driveway (the stairs where that bad).

The shed with a “living roof”.

The cabin, needed a lot of work but actually was cute inside.

Headed home.

The was enough wind to keep the kiters happy.

Still a lot of snow on the mountains…yes it has been a cold spring.

There was this fabulous ray of light coming down and merging with the sunlight. My camera doesn’t really show off how incredible it was.

I liked the silhouette of the person to the left and the maritime statue to the right. That would be a kite not a bird in the upper right corner.

These two children were happily playing by the telescope.

It seemed like all the homes we looked at had something unusual so I thought I would share some of the more interesting finds…

Even though it was filled with junk this was such a cool old room.

Really really really old kiwi plants that were on a terrace.

Because a bat house is what makes a house a home.

This bamboo was so tall.

These are some of the lessons you might learn…

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride

don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout
run right back and make friends

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm
Stop when you have had enough
Be loyal
Never pretend to be something you’re not

If what you want lies buried
dig until you find it
When someone is having a bad day
be silent ….sit close by…and nuzzle them gently.
